    Default How to identify the toy car to buy (finding the gear system)

    Hi friends,
    I went to the shop and enquired about the toy cars. They have lots of variety. I dont know which one to buy. It would be very much helpful if anyone of u can show me the picture of such toy gear boxes or the toy car itself. Am running out of time. Please help me.

    hmmm, i ran into this problem too some time back and ended up buying two cars. i dun think it matters much whats inside the gearbox. for my project i just tested the cars to see what kind of steering mechanisms they were using and how fast they could move. also the size of the wheels etc

    oh and the motor/gearbox combo runs faster without the body of the car. so if you make a lightweight robo...

    Hey pal,
    I think u misunderstood my problem. I fear that the toy car i may buy dont have the gear box but instead have the gears fixed to the body itself. In that case it would not make any use. So only i asked the a picture of the gear box if anyone can show me.
