    hi
I think the qu-bot from robokits is awsome for its cost
    http://robokits.co.in/shop/index.php...6rhsg394qikjc0

    highlights of it are
    1.Easy and simple to use
    2.No soldering or gluing required
3.Made for complete beginners (No knowledge of Robotics or Programming needed)
4.Develop skills of microelectronics, programming, robotics and sensors
5.Assembles in 10minutes – easy and quick start into robotics, no soldering or gluing required
6.Virtually all items included. Nothing needs to be bought seperately. Eg. Tools, battery, charger, remote, USB Cable etc.
7.USB connectivity for maximum compatibility with all PC’s and Laptops
8.Easy Icon-based visual programming for beginners – sample programs included
9.Onboard li-ion rechargeable battery which can run Qu-Bot for more than 3 hours.
10.Battery charged through USB or special charger

    all these for only RS.2800

ha ha ... coming from efy very pathetic attempt at a kit. Really lame attempt.

@sudarshan - Heard of Asuro ? , It costs about Rs 800 - 1200 last i heard... other than rechargeable battery it does everything better !!! And its wirelessy programmable !!! who needs cables !!!

Also robokits blatantly stole from Asuro giving no credits, like a lot of products on their site which are just stolen from other online circuits/products.

I would love to see like 3pi robots in india. nex has some kits too which look similar ... but nex is in its own joyride of charging Rs 16 k for them !!!

Vikas what happened to ARP ?

There are alot of Robotic shops at Janakpuri. These are not robotics shop they order kits, motors, components & mechanical parts from internet & LRM & sell them at really high prices. They have all kinds of kits which are available at Indian robo online shops. From RoboKits to Vega kit & even parallax. They order them in bulk & sell to college guys with 50% commission.Very Few have there own designed kits. They also give training in 8051 & make 4th year projects. They charge heavily.I have once been there they had a DTMF + L293 for 750/-.I can make one in 300/- .They charge 11K for BOE BOTs. That is too much. They even have 3pi & other parallax stuff.

Some of the Web Sites are:

    http://www.melodyprojects.com/
    http://www.bbworkshop.com/

I don't remember other but they are something like this Tech Toys & all.
    I'll soon post some pictures.
