    I would recommend Xbee modules.

    I want to build two bots,(two line followers)

    first bot start moving & when it detects check point ,it will stop there ,
    & send message to bot 2 , to start moving & when bot 2 detects check point ,it will send message to bot 1 to start moving ,,,and soon

    The cheapest thing should be connecting the Rx Tx pins using wires for short distances or if ur pocket permits then use a wireless module
