    Default Bluetooth for robots

Can a bluetooth dongle used with mobile phones communicate with another dongle? If yes we can use Bluetooth dongles which connect to the serial port ( i hope they are available in india) for communication between a PC and a uc (with RS323)!

I have seen many bluetooth coomunication modules at online stores which are specially designed for interfacing with embedded systems, they are many times more expensive than these mobile phone dongles.

If anyone has worked on this or any kind of bluetooth project pls let me know.

If this can be done, possibilities r endless
    - inter robo communication
    - wireless ISP
    - ability to connect to bluetooth compatible devices..............

    Default nice idea

    Hi,
I was also thinking about using bluetooth modules for robot communication. But i was fearing about the cost and avaliability. If it is affordable and available then its cool and be used for our robots. I am working on this topic. I will let the group know in case of progress.
