I have made two tutorials on making Line following robots, both of them are from scratch, no ready-made kit, no controller board used.
1. Simple line follower robot : It is made using acrylic sheet chassis, two DC BO motors, 1 caster, 2 LDR sensors and transistor as motor driver circuit. I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
2. Advance line follower robot : The chassis is same as of simple line following robot, Four IR sensors, One obstacle sensor, AVR ATmega32 mcu , L293D motor driver circuit. A sample grid following code, for the task shown in video is in the tutorial.
